Recently, the 43rd ASEAN Summit, underlining the theme of ASEAN Matters: Epicentrum of Growth, was proudly hosted by Indonesia and took place in Jakarta.

The event served as a platform to underline the importance of the ten ASEAN nations, with Indonesia leading the way concerning global stability, regional prosperity, and developing sustainable economies. When combined, the ASEAN nations serve as the world’s 5th largest economy, with a GDP of $3.3 trillion.

Our team has been working closely with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce to highlight two flagship events of the ASEAN Summit, the ASEAN-Indo-Pacific Forum, AIPF, and the Indonesian Sustainability Forum, or ISF. Both events heavily focused on energy transitions and long-term green economies while highlighting the importance of collaboration amongst member-states and other global economies.

To learn why the AIPF and ISF are essential to ASEAN regional prosperity and peace, pick up the October 7th weekly APAC, Americas, or Continental Europe edition of The Economist or click below to read the articles.
