Nigeria 2022 – Driving Africa’s sustainability
While the constraints to the worldwide logistics chains continue to prevail and the economies are slowly recovering from covid fallout and the subsequent effects generated by the pandemic, the West African economy is vastly rebounding.
West Africa is projected to grow a 6.1 percent in 2022 reflecting favorable terms of trade. West African countries have seized the opportunity of the crisis to foster structural and macroeconomic reforms that could pave the way f for increased inclusive growth over the long term.
The fall in demand and oil prices as a result of the pandemic is accelerating the transition to a more sustainable and green economy worldwide, with major IOCs making the transition from dirty coal and oil towards transition fuels such as Natural Gas and biofuels to finally end with a renewable-based economy.
