What an incredible experience attending Andrew Pierre Hart’s solo show, “The Listening Sweet – 3 – Lagos,” at Tiwani Contemporary in Lagos.
The moment we stepped into the gallery, we were transported into a world of vibrant colors, rhythmic music, and thought-provoking artwork. Hart’s paintings, displayed on a mesmerizing hand-painted mural, beautifully captured the essence of Lagos and its Afrobeat heritage, resonating with the audience on a deeply personal level. The installation of wooden sculptural objects added an extra layer of magic to the space. It was a truly immersive and transformative journey that we won’t soon forget.
