Egypt has two Revolution Day public holidays.

The first is Revolution Day January 25 which marks the start of the revolution in 2011 that led to the resignation of General Mubarak. The second Revolution Day July 23 marks the anniversary of the Egyptian Revolution of 1952.

January 25th is also remembered as an official holiday in Egypt known as Police Day, which celebrated the anniversary of Police officers’ resistance against the British Army in 1952. Join us as we celebrate with them.
